It's gonne be a good game, ladies and gents. I figured whoever wanted to could come here before, during, and/or after the game to talk a little smack, discuss plays/players/stats, etc.
Go Bears! Woohoo!

That's quite the porno you've got there, alky. Superball, I like to call it:p
Seriously though, I'm going for the Colts, but it won't disappoint me at all if the Bears win. As long as the Patriots aren't here, I don't care. Good luck to both teams! BTW, Raiders are gonna win it all next year:o

Hahaha! I don't make typos very often, but when I do they always completely change the direction of my statement.

'Cause they're soo deep with talent:D
Colts win, but because of the Patriots...Vinateri kicks the winner to establish himself as the best clutch kicker of all time. 27-24 Colts

How about everyone follow Rod's lead and give your predictions for the final score. Not who you are rooting for, mind you, but rather what you think the final outcome will be. We can check back later and see who was the closest and that person will win a prize.
Bears 24-17

It seems as though every sports analyst in the country is picking the Colts. I really think the Bears are gonna pull it out, though.

Unless the defense comes up with a score the game's over. Grossman sure as hell aint leading a comeback.

Congrats to the Colts. Now I never have to hear Peyton Manning can't win the big one again. Nice effort all around by the entire Colts team, especially the defense. I had a feeling if the Bears started falling Grossman would start making big mistakes.

Rex is a dumbfuck. I hated him all season, I hate him now. He's a pussy on field and makes stupid decisions.
That being said: Congrats Colts, helluva a season, helluva game. And I am glad we were able to make it this far.

You took the words right out of my mouth. Literally. I was coming on to say the exact same thing. I'm not a fan of either, but I was really pulling for the Bears to win. It hurt to watch Manning holding up the trophy, but congratulations to the Colts fans, nonetheless.

The best part was when the announced stated something like "Rex is going to pull it together now and start playing well", as he finished the sentence Grossman threw a pick. Classic stuff, almost as good as fumbling the snap between his legs.
I don't know about the whole African-American coach stuff either. It seems like everybody keeps saying everything should be equal but then when somebody of a minority does something great we quickly point out the color of their skin. I've called Dungy and Lovie a great coach but have never once said either were a great black coach.

It's just that it's the first time which makes it significant. Now that more and more black coaches are being hired along with the success of most of them, it'll become a non factor sooner or not much later.
For example, the '01 oscars were headlined by Denzel and Halle Berry. When '04 came around Jamie Foxx and Morgan Freeman both picked up oscars, yet I heard nothing of it in terms of racial significance.

You just can't win a Super Bowl with a crappy QB.

He led 'em to a AFC championship then a Super Bowl title, in his first two years. What's crappy about that?

I was more refering to his performance in the actual Superbowl. They won regardless, though, so that counts for something.
