Wow. This really made me laugh. The opening paragraph really hit the nail on the head.

The only thing I'll be keeping in mind is how badly I want the Bears to lose and Peyton to win.

Are you at least a little bit excited for the halftime show by........................
Prince?
Anyway, everyone on earth is picking the Colts. I'm pretty much indifferent, but for some reason I think that the Bears are gonna squeak it out due to the turnover margin and a punt or kick return by Devin Hester. It should be a good game.

Also, I hope it's a blowout so that not only at the end of the game, but throughout the 3rd and/or 4th quarter I can see that look on their faces.

I'm not expecting a blowout, either way. I take it that you are a big Colts fan and not just a supporter right now?

No. I don't have a problem with the Colts but I'm not a fan either, I'd just like to see Peyton Manning win a Super Bowl. I am however a huge Saints fan, the Bears beat the Saints in the NFC championship game to advance to the Super Bowl, that's why I want to see them lose. I honestly rather see a good game rather than a blowout, but if it were the Bears being blown out it wouldn't bother me all that much.

Bullshit or not, rules are rules. If you read the exact definition of the tuck rule and watch the replay, I'm sorry to say that it's pretty clear.

Regardless of the outcome or controversy, snow bowl will be one of my fave playoff games of all time. I moved out of the place I was living in at the time because of the noise i made that night. I had to work all that sunday so I taped the games and came home and watched them back to back. Snow bowl came around at about midnight and I was going fucking berzerker. My roomie cam down and told me that if I didnt shut up I would have to move out. I told him that was fine, he could consider it me giving my notice. And I didn't give a fuck for either of those teams at that time. Stories like this make me feel fucking emo about how shit the superbowl is in my eyes. I hate dedicating such a sizable chunk of a four month peroid to delving into the NFL with all my might, only to have it come up like this. Did I mention my other most hated team is the seahawks ( I honestly don't care for the Steelers much either)? Bad run of luck these past couple years for this viewer... Oh well, as a Vikes fan, the "there's always next year" thing has been pretty predominant since Anderson missed that FG against the falcons... :(

I've been a lifelong Colts fan and have been through all the heartbreak of the past few years so I'm definitely looking forward to Retribution Sunday

Bah. You're in league with the refs and the commish to conspire against us, just like everyone else!;)
*edit* I suppose that I should include here that I'm a Raiders fan for life, just in case someone didn't catch it the past 100 or so times I posted it.

Look on the brightside, you've got either one of two great QB prospects* or a franchise RB coming to town.
*I specifically said prospect because that's what they are, great ones, but just prospect nonetheless. There's no Elway in this draft.

You said the unmentionable name just to irritate me, didn't you:mad::p
*edit* I'm kind of hoping we trade Moss & Porter away for offensive linemen and draft Calvin Johnson. However, I've been hearing great things about our new coach, so I'll put my trust in his hands. Regardless, come September it's Raider time.

No idea what you're talking about.:D
Moss maybe traded to Green Bay, haven't heard anything about Porter yet.

I've heard rumors of this as well. I'm seriously rooting for trading him to Baltimore for Ogden. Kind of a Lincoln Kennedy type deal. I know he's approaching the end of his career, but that leadership on the line would be wonderful.
BTW, congrats to your Saints. Even though they didn't make the Bowl, they're young and the first time ever in the championship game. I was pulling for them, but it's also nice to see the Bears go. I guess this is a SuperBowl thread, so I'm rooting for the Colts. I was really pulling for them in their Cinderella season with Hairball, but I'm glad to see Manning make the big game. I was starting to think he was going to end up another Marino (I guess he still might)

Prince needs to decide as to whether he wants people to take notice of him or whether he doesn't. Doesn't want the camera on him at the Golden Globes, wants to perform at the Super Bowl. Doesn't show up for awards shows, makes terrible movies. Playes 108 musical instruments, can't sing for shit.
I don't get the dude.
Fun shit: While singing along to the song "When the Doves Cry," sing the part, "Maybe you're just like my mother," in a thick Brooklyn accent. (Perhaps that's only funny when you're stoned).
That song "Cream," was just great.
@Austin: What you said about the Bears, "Maybe yuh just like my mutha!":D
