When evolutionary zoologist Nick Cutter discovers prehistoric creatures alive and well in the present day the natural world is turned on its head and humanity faces a threat to its very existence. Unexplained anomalies are ripping holes in the fabric of time, allowing creatures from the very earliest stages of Earth's development to roam the modern world. Cutter and his team struggle to keep the looming disaster secret while dealing with savage dinosaurs and other deadly foes. Cutter also has to deal with a deeply personal dilemma - he discovers that his wife Helen, missing believed dead for eight years, has actually been travelling in the past; now she is back with possible answers to the riddle of the anomalies, but is it an answer she is willing to share? Primeval combines the dazzling special effects of Walking With Dinosaurs with a haunting love story, and asks a terrifying question - has mankind come to the end of the evolutionary road?

Is this the film you are talking about?
If so what more can you ask for in a film than prehistoric time traveling creatures and the possible end of mankind? lol
I think I wanna see this one.

There was one coming out recently saying it was "the worst serial killer in history, and he is still on the loose"!

i think that is the croc one, and it sounds like shit, especially when they attribute human behavior to an animal.

Plot Outline: A news team is sent to South Africa to capture and bring home a legendary 25-foot crocodile. Their difficult task turns potentially deadly when a warlord targets them for death

However this is the plot outline for the 2007 film Primeval from link provided but The_Return. Thank you this is the film David meant .

Dont know why or how I managed to get something different. lol

Actuallyl., right after i posted that, i found it, it IS primeval, but it is a tv miniseries as opposed to a movie about a giant crocodile.

This is just the first of 2 giant croc movies this year. Later this summer ROGUE comes out. It's from the director of Wolf Creek and advance word on it is really bad.

Did everyone forget about Lake Placid? i think 1 giant croc film every 10-20 years is fine.
Our own Crabapple worked on Alligator 2, which was 11 years after the first.

And lake placid came out in '99, so that works out to just about every 10 years....
Damn, i guess it was time. Forgot what year it was. But 2?
