Good to see you like The Burning most people haven't heard of it. It grabbed me by suprise and was much better than I expected really slick/gorey and had a few geniune scares.

The first Nightmare on Elm St, most especially because of the scene where Tina buys it....she's on the ceiling and blood is everywhere.
I think the true slasher is "Texas Chainsaw Masacre."
