If any of you read about the big Seattle massacre that happened last year (some guy got invited to an after part from a rave and ended up shooting a bunch of people) I used to live like 5 blocks from where it happened. I wasn't there for it, but it's still crazy to think about.
I went through the whole WTO riot thing, which was extremely scary. I wonder, did any of our LA friends go through the whole post Rodney King riots? That had to have been terrifying.
Although I wasn't in Seattle when the actual killings happened, I got to talk to an officer who was part of the Green River Killer case. He said it was just surreal as hell. I wonder what officers think when they're a part of such an infamous investigation? To think of how you'd feel if you were the man who arrested say, Henry Lee Lucas or Ted Bundy...my mind can't even comprehend the feeling. To look into the eyes of someone who's done such horrible things...face to face. I'm not religious at all, but I imagine it'd be like staring down the ultimate dogmatic evil. I'd be curious and yet terrified at the same moment.

I was home over the sumer he got busted and freaked out when they showed his house and I knew exactly where it was. I had even worked with Habitat for Humanity to refurbish the apartment building next doo to his:eek:

Diane Downs was my postal carrier for a time- after she had killed her kids too, and was under investigation, so everyone knew who she was.

Ah well, I doubt "my" killer will attain hall of fame status...but, it's still an interesting story...time will tell I suppose.

Michael Choy..a pizza delivery man was lured to an abandoned house by false pretense..
On arrival he was surrounded by a group of kids ..youngest aged 13 ..beaten and robbed of the 20$'s he was carrying.
The kids took the pizzas back to thier parents house and ate as if nothing happened.
Michael Choy crawled to his parents address not too far from the house and died on thier doorstep.
When i became the new owner to this house ..all my new neighbours were like..ooh ..the michael choy murder happened just over there..'pointed to the house across the road from me'..
bloody real estate agent forgot to mention that small fact when i asked about the neighbourhood.

Well...it's not really their job to tell you all the bad shit...it would kind've work to the negative for them, no? I don't think it's all that important unless you're overly supersticious though, I mean, copycat style killings/crimes aren't something you hear about often...
