It was on Sci-Fi a long time ago when they had the 'Exposure' (I THINK that's what it was called) segments.
It was in black and white (maybe...lol)...It was a little 'boy' going trick-or-treating and he had One big black hole or button for an eye, the other eye was an 'X'...His head looked like a round, white cloth bag, I think it was supposed to look like a Halloween costume, but when he got home he wasn't wearing a costume, it was just the way he was...I know that's REALLY vague, but it's all I can remember
I THINK it was called 'Trick-Or-Treat' but I could be wrong...

Nope. Donīt have a clue.
Maybe it was something you saw on Cartoon Network, hmmm? No, it was DEFINITELY Sci-Fi...Do you even remember seeing the series of shorts they did?...It was connected to the Sundance Film Festival...A lot of indie guys contributed to it...There were also a couple of shorts with robots and people made of circuitry and wires and things...It was really cool...Someone HAS to remember this

I'm also looking for episodes of a couple of late 80's TV shows...
One was called 'Whoops', it was an awesome show...It was a post-apocalyptic sitcom, kinda like Gilligan's Island, except that the PLANET was the island...There were very few survivors (with clashing personalities) and they were forced to live together because almost everything was destroyed... Radiation had mutated all the plants and animals... In the Thanksgiving episode a giant turkey showed up at their farm and tried to eat them...The show didn't last long...I knew it wouldn't last, because I REALLY liked it and I have shitty luck...Everything I like gets cancelled...Guess that's why I don't really watch television anymore...
The other show was called 'Night Flight' it did segments of weird stuff...The 'Tater-Tomater' episode was funny as hell...

I just found ONE excerpt about 'Whoops'...It mentioned the Christmas episode:
"Whoops!" Sort of a post nuclear war Gilligan's Island. A light hearted comedy about survival after mankind is wiped out. What's not to love? ;) I actually kind of enjoyed this short lived series, especially when Santa came to visit and confessed to killing all the elves and Mrs Clause by accidently locking them out of the North Pole's bomb shelter
HAHA...That was weird, this person used some of my exact same words to describe this...I suppose great minds really DO think alike...lol
Here's another one:
There was a very short-lived post-apocalyptic sitcom called Whoops!, about a group of people who managed to survive an accidental nuclear holocaust and had to cope with the wacky problems of being the last people on Earth.
So, SOMEONE remembers these...

I was a big fan of Night-Flight. I doubt you'll find any DVDs of that, however, as mostly it was a magazine show and would just air all the great stuff they could find. They had early Tom Greene segments as well.

Well I did what Angra did and had a couple leads which led to nowhere BR, hence I didnt post any reply.
animated...trick or treat...Sci-Fi...between '99 and '03...hmm I dont remember exactly...
I m sure they ll bundle all episodes of Whoops and Night Flight into separate combo DVD packs pretty soon. Just be patient. :p People do demand to see more of the 80s, now that newer stuff is mostly taking a whack from the viewers and the critics alike.

It might take ya some time, but here's a way of finding out: Go check out some of the animation websites out there. If it was a stop motion clip, go to some stop motion message boards, if it was CG, go to one of those boards, etc. .....this was more or less recent, and each animation community has resident geeks who know who has done what.
Start the question going and (just like this place) the super-geeks will come out of the woodwork, one-upping each other until the answer is found.

If it's short, you can try Devil Ducky which is an affiliate of Milkandcookies.com or Pistolwimp.com

I LOVE that character, and the animation style is so cool, almost like Tim Burton meets Bill Plympton.
