Hello all!

It's been a good while since I was last here - October to be exact. I have watched ton's of films (obviously) over the period and being the geek I am I have noted down with a view to review! Am sure you will all be bored by my notes over next few weeks hahaha!

Basically I've changed my job so I don't get as much chance to post and read the great many posts on here as I used to but I am gonna attempt as much as I can to stay in touch as I have found a great many lost or just simply forgotten films through you guys.

I would like to also thank the few of you who gave me some excellent tips for Halloween and my Zombie costume - I have never had so much fun making prop blood and as for my first experience with liquid latex....wow! I did get a few piccies from the night and will post one or two over the coming weeks - don't mock too much!

I also (as some of you may well remember) went to my first horror/sci-fi convention in early December where I had a good chat with various great people non-more so than Robert Englund. I will also post details on certain rumours that you may or may not have heard - straight from the horse's mouth or so it was...

Anyway enough of my rambling, let me take this opportunity to wish you all a Very Happy New Year and I hope 2007 brings us some classic horror films...Originals though please - NO MORE REMAKES!

All the best

Warren

I am having trouble uploading my pix as promised - anyone else experiencing such difficulties? I have tried 'uploading my attachment', making sure that the picture is not too big (under 100KB) so that is not the problem but I keep getting told the 'upload failed' - any advice gladly accepted.

P.S. Thanks Alkytrio666 - it's certainly been busy!

P.P.S. I am not against all remakes lol - am just growing a little tired of them now and am looking forward to some fresh ideas rather than churning out (with obvious certain exceptions) second rate attempts at classic films I grew up on...

You'll have to link your pics. Attachments are outta here these days.

Hmmm - well I am going to show my Inferior IT knowledge here and ask - how do I link the pictures? I don't have a website etc - they are just sat here on my hard drive. Does this mean I can not put them on here etc??

Hi guys

Well as ya can see I quite enjoyed meeting Rob Englund...upon meeting him I got him to give me a quick impression ' This is Goddd' which was quality cos not many people can say they have had met Krueger and survived lol.

I had to ask (and funnily enough I have seen over the last day or 2 people again asking about the Freddy V's Jason V's Ash) well...I can safely say that I have heard the truth from Robert Englund so here goes...

Basically the gist was this:

They WERE going to make the movie...Freddy V's Jason V's Ash BUT according to Freddy (haha) Bruce Campbell was really busy with various other projects and when it actually came to it they neither wanted to Kill off Ash any more than they wanted to kill off Freddy (the biggest franchise of the 3) - again according to Rob Englund who of course would not be biased regarding such stats & figures hahahhaa. Anyway so after all that the idea was shelved...

However - it has or should I say it is being mooted that they are to start work in the close future on non-other than

FREDDY V'S JASON V'S MICHAEL MYERS

You heard it here first folks...lol...or maybe you didn't. More Stories Later...;)

meeting these guys is a lot of fun.
what i get a kick out of also is the little signature sayings that they sign their autographs with ... its kind of cute .

the ones I've gotten so far on my signed DVDs :

- Go Camping : Michael Berryman (hills have eyes)
- The Dr Will See You Now : Jeffrey Combs - Reanimator
- You're Next ! - Gunnar Hansen (texas chainsaw massacre)

i cant remember what walter phelan wrote (Dr Satan - HO1C)

Hahahaha - thanks Novakru! It was great fun and informative too - I'd recommend to any horror or just movie enthusiasts - it's a great day/weekend out!

Urge...those DVD's sound class! I love collecting autographs so when you get a little added Note along with it always makes for a special bonus. I managed to get Linda Blair's to which she wrote " To Warren, Sweet Dreams...Linda Blair (Regan)" which is a personal favourite!

I must admit to being jealous of your Gunnar Hansen signed DVD though. I got Gunnar to sign my original 70's poster of TCM which he did - but no special message :-(
