Still think that we don't need another Die Hard, but this looks preety good. I don't like the kid that is in this trailer, I don't remeber his name but he was in Dodge Ball and that new college movie Accepted.

I'm looking forward to this. I love the Die Hard trilogy, and I think this could work.

I'm not a big fan of the "Jeeper Creepers" kid either, but I'll give him a chance. I'm a big fan of both Willis and the "Die Hard" saga so I'm definitely looking forward to this.

I forgot he was in Jeepers Creepers, but I won't let that stop me from seeing the movie.
By the way, Die Hard is my favorite Christmas movie ;)

When it comes to action flicks the Die Hard trilogy rules.:D

I would love to see another one.

I just hope as far as sequels go, it'll be more towards "witha vengeance" than "die harder"...I'll give it a chance regardless.

You didn't like Die Harder, I thought it was a great movie, it was a true sequal in that it expanded on the characters and it uped the stakes. Ex-miliatry taking over an airport, I think thats a great story!

What can I say? I just didn't like it...
Maybe by the time the third one came out, I'd stopped comparing the series to the first, still my favourite of the lot, by far. I thought maybe the second one was a bit too over the top. The snow chases, the trail of fire to the plane, explosions explosions explosions....That and the badguys weren't really that memorable to me. I can remember Hans and Simon clear as day, yet struggle to even think about those in the second film...that and I always thought it had terminator syndrome, like...the second one was fine and all, but just felt like it tried to simply out-do thr first film, which was pretty much the same deal in a different location. More hostages, more kills, more explosions...etc.
True, the third one was over the top as well, but I liked the plot/subplot a little better, at least a little more original (from the first) and Jeremy Irons was great, Jackson was a little more funny and useful than "fat cop on the radio" and McClanes burnt-out bit worked a treat.
I mean it wasn't so bad IMO that I'd never want to see it again, but definately my least favourite of the bunch, but yknow whatever, not here to try and convert anybody.

Looks good...but then looks can deceive.

I love Die Hard, def one in my all time fav action movies list.
Die Harder was ok, good and nice script backed by some solid direction and performances.
The third was average IMO. Except plenty of explosions and chases all around, there wasnt much to follow. Willis himself didnt like #3 and the way McClane shaped out in the end.
Hopefully the fourth will iron out the shortcomings of #3, and bring back the McClane of the original and the sequel. But then, it will be tough to compare it with the original.
The best it can do will be to better Die Harder, because no way can it be better than Die Hard.

I enjoyed them all and look forward to the next one. You just can't beat Bruce Willis in an action movie.

my friend works at Fox in the legal department and he told me that he saw an acting contract for Kevin Smith in the Live Free of Die Hard file.

That's really going to take me out of the film. I like Smith and fing him quite funny, but he's such a "personality" that I don't think this will work well.

You didn't have to defind yourself, thats just the way I talk. I agree that the Die Hard movies were over the top with the sequals. But I believe that is one of the reasons we go to the movies, to step out of reality. I mean why would you pay money to watch something real when you could watch reality on the news or live reality in your own life. Its like those chick flicks, why watch the girl drama on screen when you could live it. I say stuff like this to the people who critize horror/sci-fi movies mainly b/c they think that these movies are stupied and too far out of reality. But if their so stupied then why are big budget sci-fi movies the ones that mainly do well overall at the box office? Cough Star Wars cough, Spider-Man, cough, Pirates of the Carrabian, cough.

I too thought #2 was a great sequel, but I wouldnt say I thought it was better than #3, just on par. Reason being is I just love the whole riddle/clue thing, getting to telephones on time to solve a new puzzle and all that sort of stuff :)

Two great sequels to a great film, lets hope the 4th is as good :D

Kinda like Joe Pesci [what ever happened to him?] in Leathal Weapon 2.

Just saw The Good Shepherd and he made a nice little cameo in it. It was only about 5 minutes, but it was a good part for him.

I don't think it'll end up at pg13...although I can't say I expected AvsP to go that way either...but yeah...that was just a spinoff non-canon film really, for DH4 to go this way would really kill the franchise.

They can have all the action they want in a PG-13 movie, just no sex, because everyone knows seeings the parts on the outside people are born with is a lot worse then seeing the parts on the outside people are born with being ripped out or flying out after an explosion.

Old news. This film was given PG-13 rating for about a month now. Bruce Willis and the filmmakers have gone on record saying that some of the profanities have been sublimed from the film, but the violence stays the same.
Nonetheless, John McClane is not John McClane without at least an 18 or R.
Just how will the common New Yorker, or for that fact the common American, relate to him?
I am afraid this might turn out to be a lamer version of the original.

It just came out on DVD! It's a super ridiculous piece of bloated ass-kickery with Lance Henricksen and William Forsythe... and a song written and performed by ME!
