Hey, if people can post about garbage like "Eragon" and "Transformers" then I, the OG of this forum, can surely post about the Ninja Turtles.

Looks ok...the cg isn't great, or at least, how they look......I think the thing will be a fun watch as long as it's a given that it's more or less a movie length cartoon. I think that compared to a lot of animated films, it'll at least fall into the "decent" categorie.
The turtles glory days might've died after the first two films (although the current animated series is "ok") but , I'll still catch this at some point.

I just want a pure, directly from the comic movie, is that so much to ask?

First off Transformers is not shit!
Second off no one really cares what is posted on here, its preety much turned into a sci-fi/horror/action forum.
Thirdly, There is already a Tutrles thread: http://www.horror.com/forum/showthread.php?t=23395

yeah, the Transformers are shit
look it's a car...
no it's a robot...
no it's a go-bot...
who could possibly care about one soulless hunk of metal that turns into another soulless hunk of metal?
no soul = no empathy = no interest
And if Micheal Bay loves it then you know it must be pure shit

But they're robots... that change into other stuff... Childhood nostalgia cannot be overcome when it comes to the Transformers.

but it's nostalgia for something completely hollow

Now, that's something I would like to see. The comics were some good shit. Great story lines...

Why is there a bashing on Transformers here?
Personally I think the turtles are a ridiculus idea. 4 turtles that mutate inot
6ft. walking talking fighting superheroes. I just think the idea is really stupied.
Transformers has some piece of reality in it, I mean that the idea is closure the realm of reality. Plus the idea is really cool giant robots that can change into vechiles and fight each other. Its simple and visually entertaining.
Lastly, Speilburg is producing the Transformers movie, so its not all Michael Bay.

my kid loves the turtles !
i think everyone is forgetting who these shows were meant for ..
(both transformers and turtles)
some kids like - and are fascinated by robots,
some kids like the absurdity of turtles who talk like surfer teens and fight like Shô Kosugi.
neither was a part of my upbringing .. but both shows had a lot of young fans.

Totally agree, I grew-up on both myself but as an adult I have knida lost my interest in the turtles but I still love the Transformers b/c I think I had more of an attachment to cars and robots. I know that carried over into my adult life b/c I'm a big car nut.

go-bots were transformers' retarded knock-off cousin. instead of switching around a bunch of stuff to change from vehicle to robot, it only had like one moving part. if someone gave you a go bot at your birthday party it was reason to withhold treatbags.

I was just letting you know b/c I personally don't care what movies are posted on here, and I don't thin you should care either, if you notice the majority of movies I post on are non horror.
