LOL yeah....who knew the pope had so much in common with Ozzy Osbourne? For real...I had no idea the Pope was anti-religious...I just thought he was 'anti-everything' else...

The only thing the Catholic church puts stock in is organized crime.
I'm a little bitter with the church off the heels of The DaVinci Code read. That fucking book made more sense than the bible. And I'm perturbed about it.
Then you should read Foucault's Pendulumn by Umberto Eco

That fucking book made more sense than the bible. Umm...So does Alice In Wonderland...
And Alice In Wonderland is less contradictory and more consistent, too...

I love Eco!! The Name Of The Rose is one of my favorite books.
The movie wasn't that bad either, actually.

I don't remember much about the Da Vinci Code except all the dirty looks me and my friends got for paying it out...... and the huge pile of empty beers we left there.

Let me clarify that being raised a Catholic my beliefs always leaned moretowards what The DaVinci Code was saying. What I never thought was that that Church itself would change the actual happeningsof Jesus and I hate the Church even more because it makes more sense. All to make money on the falseties that were portrayed in what's supppsed to be historic writings and I hate that I actually put my faith into those teachings. But I'm older, wiser, and feel a lot better about my faith because of this book. And I will definately read Foucault's Pendulumn by Umberto Eco.
I sure hope you're joking. I would hate to think that you let The Da Vinci Code shape your "true" faith in any way, shape, or form. I'm pretty sure there was a reason why it was on the FICTION list, and it wasn't because the Catholic Church paid for it to be.:)
