Where are you spending Christmas eve this year? Personally, I'm doing the usual family-gathering; these things can be brutal, but they usually turn pretty OK.

You?

I'm going to be on an island called sauve sauve, I think that's how you spell it.
With my girlfriends family, they are payeing for the flights and accomodation, so I couldn't realy say no.

I'll be in Florida up until Xmas eve, then we're coming home to do the usual: church, presents, family, and a ton of food.

I LOVE Christmas :)

I guess i might go to Chicago with my family. It will suck cause we will be there from December 15-January 3. Do any of you live around there? Maybe i could find someone to go have a drink with.

Me, my wife (when she is not at work), and a friend spend a few hours eating at the local bar that opens on Christmas, we then move to my house and play board and miniature games for the rest of the day.

Well since we gotta house sit we are about 30mins from home. Its just gonna be me cheebs and my mum this year since the rest of the family went overseas.
Mum will come for food then go back home to watch her pay tv. So not much of a chrissy this year.

so make it a romantic christmas for two after your mom's gone home

lights down low, lots of christmassy 'finger' foods from bowls, sitting on a rug in front of the fire while watching the movie of your choice... turns a crap christmas into a great christmas :)
