Got the idea from the "one decade" thread, on the basis of what I thought it would be when I first read the title...well, it wasn't what I thought it was, but I thought it would be an alright idea.
One decade...passes...
Realistically, where would you like to be...having accomplished what? Things to have done, jobs, family related stuff....anything that comes to mind...tell me about who and what you'll be in a decade if all goes according to plan.

*Complete chef qualifications, and a couple of specialties.
*Stable employment if anything...I would LIKE to start my own small catering organisation, and take on a few apprentices too, I'd like to teach in some way or another...I'd like to offer guidance to yknow, folks like me who didn't neccessarily realise and/or meet their potential quite as early as they should've, or just those with a genuine interest.
*I hope to have done some travelling, first of all around my own country as there's still a lot to see here, we have a pretty vast environmental range, despite advertisements to that would make us out to be 50% desert, 50% beach...then maybe Japan (learn a few sashimi/sushi styles, buy some knives, keepers), someplace that's snowy all the time, I suppose amsterdam would be fun, might do a few locations in the states, I wanna hit up N.O and see it fully recovered, maybe some areas of northern europe, NZ to check out my chicks home town...after finding it.
Drink from an arctic glacier.
*I want to buy a HUGE motorhome...I mean big enough to make it my place...Not saying I don't want to own any land, that's another one on the "list", but yeah...a nice, big mobile dwelling. Equipped with EVERYTHING, spacious kitchen a must.
*One child.
*Get a BIG dog, maybe two.
*Better fitness level...underway now, probably have it done easily in five...but hey, giving myself more'n enough time, I'd like to get back into muay thai again.
*Find a place to chill...like a holiday spot...someplace here. Maybe buy a small amount of land there. Something quiet, with water, and old buildings. Someplace you can catch and cook your own fish.
*Eat pretty much everything I haven't tried...or, well...that's impossible, but, try a damn good amount of interesting things.
*Probably do the marriage thing...I dunno...not a huge priority for either of us, keep the folks off our ass...can't say much about a wedding though...if there's ANY kinda ceremony it's gonna be TINY, and not church related. We'll spend more cash on the after party...
*Have a savings account, no specific amount in it, just to "have" one...I think it's something everybody ought to look into eventually.
*I wanna go someplace I can plant a tree for every year I've been alive, and continue the process throughout the years. Even if it's not a properly "organised" thing...something I'd like to do.
*Walk-in hydroponics bay...I want ANY herb I'd use, fresh and ready, and in abundance.
*I'd like to continue the writings and recipes that'll eventually go into a cookbook, can't say I ever want to write more'n one, but the one I do write, I'd like to be a good read, memorable, and contain lots of good things one can eat without having to induce a heart attack.

That's pretty much the "big" stuff...

First and foremost i would like to have a big enough income to be able to do pretty much whatever i want when i want.

I want at least a book published, if i could have it ANY way, a few movies to my name. Since we are in fantasy land, they would be 4 hour epics directed by Peter Jackson and I would get residuals on everything including product tie ins andtoy sales. Then I wouls laugh and point at George Lucas while singing "Anything you can do, I can do better"

Get Bree the hell out of New England.

Get a patent for a brilliant device i concocted, but wont tell anyone what it is.

Wow, I just realized that in 10 years there's a good possibility that I'll probably be a grandmother:eek:

Like Urge, I have met most of my goals...All that I hope for in the future is that my kids are happy, healthy and safe (as now and always).

I'm sure that Dustin will still be around (and probably even more grumpy by then, and DEFINITELY a lot more tired;)...lol)...And by that time we will have visited most of the 50 states...And Canada (again for me, first time for Dustin, Ash and Jordan).

In 10 years, Seri will have her own family, Alex most likely will, too...The only kids that we'll still have at home will be Ash (he'll be 11)...and Dustin's son Jordan (he'll be 16...fun fun fun...).

Damn, now that I really think about it...I hope I'm even still ALIVE by then...These kids are driving me insane...lol

wow, in ten years I'll be 34. I just had a mixture of emotion about realizing at the same time how old I am, AND how young I am, if that makes any sense at all.
-I want to finish the whole school thing, which should be done within the next 2 and a half years.
-Get a really good photography job, or even better, work for myself.
-Visit Disney World
-Get my family to come see where I live now
-Visit somewhere outside the U.S.
-Get married at the Lemp Mansion, which I think is gonna happen in April 2008 if everything goes the way I want it. (I just got engaged 2 days before Thanksgiving, :)...)
-Buy a nice house
-Have a kid, maybe 2...and do the whole parent thing.

I'm sure I'll accomplish more than that, but that's the main things I want to see happen. Between and after all of that I'll just live life as it comes...I'm pretty excited about life now.

Like a few of the previous members have posted, oddly enough, I have completed most of my lifes goals already, yet four still remain.

(1) Get married
(2) Have a kid or two
(3) Get at least one album out
(4) Wait on another decade to retire. lol
