Leatherface,Freddy,Pinhead,Werwolf autographed paintings

I Have just finished a pictureof leatherface which i will get signed by Gunnar Hansen tomorrow, i wondered if anyonehad any suggestions as to the best place to sign, above his head or along the saw ??? i have four signed paintings so far which are 2 Freddy, Pinhead and American werewolf in london and so i am really excited to be adding Leatherface to my collection. i only just finished it so the paint was still a little wet when i took the picture. i sell some hand signedsigned prints of my paintings too if anyone wants any. let me know

Nice work!! I think the signature should be along the edge of the blade as to not detract from the picture itself.

I like the american werewolf the most.
I think you should get him to sign it on the top left corner so it'll stand out more.

Ok i went and got it signed, i hadnt had any replies so i told Gunnar to sign it anywhere he liked. he was such a nice guy. He said when he comes back in 7 months he will sign some more forme and also hopefully sell them on his website as he said it was an excellent picture. The best compliment i could of had ! Any how here are the photos of Gunnar signing the original and the prints. thanks for all the suggestions i will get him to sign the other prints on the blade and on the top corner of the painting as i could only afford 3 prints at the time. I cant get over how friendly these guys are. i have met quite a few celebrities on my quest for autographed paintings and the three that stand out to be the nicest, friendliest and funniest are Gunnar, Robert Englund and also David Naughton. I got david caradines autograph too and he was so happy and smily i thought i would share his photo with you guys. man of very few words !! lol

Those paintings are great, and getting them signed by the actors makes them extra cool. Nice work!

Thanks, I have had quite a few signed now, i had to sell the original freddy and pinhead to some people in america as i was really skint but i still have a few prints which look just as good. I am going to be sending off another freddy to be signed by robert englud which i will keep this time. i do have prints of the others for sale if anyone is interested. shamefull plug i know but as a struggling artist i will beg if need be. I just wish i lived in the U.S.A as the autographs would be a lot easier to get. I am gonna try for Anthony Hopkins next. fingers crossed! also i am going to get the original Damien from the omen when he is in town next.
I got some other non horror ones too if anyone is interested such as the incredible hulk , original batman (adam West miserable old git) dirk benedict from the a team and some boxers. I am gonna update my website now to have a whole horror page . i just never seem to have any time.

Thanks very much. I have spoken to Gunnar and he has given me a few suggestions, one of them was a sledgehammer so great minds think alike. I will be doing another painting of leather face, this time with a sledgehammer, i have to wait till he comes back over in the spring to sign them though. i have three prints left of leatherface , 5 of pinhead and only one of freddy (best seller) the freddy one is on canvas and i onlt made three prints and got three signed as i was skint!! i am hoping to set up a decent website selling them as mine is shit, too much time painting means no time to update the site.

If i was loaded i would keep them all but as i am not they are for sale. I have Leatherface , Werewolf and Pinhead individually signed prints on ebay and i have had to put my only Freddy one ( on canvas ) i have left to sell in ebay. I HATE BEING POOR !!! on the bright side i have just finished another freddy that i will get signed so i can have one of them instead. I am a portrait artist and usually paint people & animals but the horror paintings were painted for me to keep. someone in U.S paid me $900 for the freddy original so even though i really wanted to keep it i couldnt turn down that sort of money. Hey I was just browsing your website & noticed that it said you also paint portraits from photographs. I was wondering what it would cost to have a picture painted into a 24x36 portrait? Or is there a pricing guide somewhere on your site that I just can't seem to locate?

the website doesnt have any of my signed bits on as i havent updated it for ages as i have been really busy painting ! i have a couple of my prints on ebay right now on buy it now prices, i have added a link at the bottom if you want to take a look at what i have, i am open to offers of course.
These ones are framed so they cost more because of the postage so depending on where you are in the world it may be worth buying them loose. except for Freddy, as it was on canvas i had to have it stretched to frame it as it was the only one but there is no glass so less weight and lower shipping.

The only originals i have left at the moment are
pencil sketch of hellraiser signed £120.00
painting of American werewolf (24" x 36" ) signed £250.00
painting of LeatherFace signed (24" x 36" signed £ 250.00
i have ther signed ones but not horror such as David carradine and darth vader, lou ferrignio (hulk)
I paint anything so if people have favourite scenes from films or movie posters i can paint any size , they are something a little bit different.

if you are interested in buying a few i will give a 20% discount on more than one print or painting

My prices to paint from photo start from £50. which is roughly $100. this is for a 12" x 16" picture. i go up to 30" x 40" which is £250.00 or $500 all includes shipping and insurance.
Bwind22 for a portrait on 24" x 36" the cost is £180.00 including shipping i also throw in a couple of free prints from the original that you can give away as gifts.

Great news, memorabilia fair is coming again in march nd i can get some really good signatures on paintings which i will list below, I need some really good ideas for paintings so if anyone can help me out with photos or art ideas i would be really greatfull, also because i make prints of the paintings and get them signed too i can always get some personalised if anyone wants one, I JUST NEED TO PAINT REAL FAST and raise some funds to pay for the signatures.
