If you had just one chance to go back and fix/change something, just one chance to apologize/take back something mean you've said to someone, just one chance to erase one memory, would you? What would it be and why?

I'd probably go back and take the oppurtunity to sleep with an exgirlfriends best friend which I didn't take up at the time because I wanted to get back with my girlfriend at the time.

Nothing. Fuck regrets. If I did somthing bad to someone they probably deserved it.

I don't think so. Everything happens when it's supposed to, even the worst things have effects you probably wouldn't think of. I am who I am.

when i was little i made a joke about a girls mother being a witch only to have someone tell me her mom was dead.
i'd go back and reverse that comment. (she was a nice girl .. wasnt mad at me because i wasnt trying to be mean to her - but it's always bothered me)
i was probably 6 or 7 at the time

this thread makes ppl think.
I mean..at the spur of the moment you tend to say things
at the time..not knowing that years later you..would regret.

Dwelling on the past brings you down. If I've buggered up something then so be it.

Being a "bad" big brother...I think that what happened from that, at a point is what was kind of the catalyst event behind wanting to change to be better to him...I have, and since, he's become (easily) my closest living relative. Not even full brothers, but that I'd ever REALLY consider him anything BUT...I guess the only thing I regret is that things had to go a certain way to wake me up to myself...I can't argue the outcome though.

dwelling on it - contemplating it - i dont let it stop my life from moving forward - but i learn from it - it helps te remember how it feels - to avoid doing it again in the future..

I have a couple. I would have listened to my wife and cut ties with my family a while ago. Couldve saved a lot of headaches and fights.
When i was 5, i was hanging out with a couple of kids on my street. A newer kid came over to say hi. He had a small glass bowl with water, and a bunch of those mini-marshmallows floating in it. he was eating them, and one of the kids i was with asked him why.
He just shrugged and said he liked them that way. They started picking on him, then without provocation, one of them kicked him in the crotch. he ran off crying, and i was destroyed because he got hurt and i did nothing to help him. I told the other kids off and didnt hang out with them again, but i have never been able to get the look on that kid's face out of my head.
I have been hyper sensitive to that kindof thing ever since, i can't stand people who are cruel.

I wouldn't change a darn thing. And trust me there are plenty of things that happen to me that were bad, but if they never happened I wouldn't know what to do and what not to do. Plus everything does happen for a reason.

thats the way i am and thats exactly the way i would have felt.
i remember the first time i acted instead of watched ...
a friend of mine thought it would be funny to throw a cat into a bramble bush ..
i waited for the cat to get out - then i threw him in.
his parents didnt let him play with me anymore after that .. oh well.
