Urge's "Big Change" thread made me think about this:
There are tons of things, it seems every year now, that make the news, or in some other way are presented to us as things that will "Change the world, revolutionize how we do *insert whatever*", but then fizzle and fade into obscurity, inevitably becoming a witty reference for one o fthose jack-offs on VH1.

First few that come to mind:
The Segway
digital actors (Final Fantasy movie....)
Crystal Pepsi

The Flayed One

You bastard....

Believe me, if i had the segway's financial backing, it would get more attention. this damn "work" and family thing doesnt allow me a lot of free time.

"does this make me look gay ?"

Anything with the word "Fanny" in it sounds gay...

"Fanny Farmer" sounds like a gay guy with a harem.

Of course "Ass-pack" doesnt sound any better....

I bought some meat at the store the other day, and they gave it to me in a baggie that had a ZIPPER in it... not a regular lock top- a freakin PLASTIC ZIPPER.

I have been using the Glad zipper bags with the actual zipper for a while now and have been impressed. We had a cut cucumber last a month in one. Those things usually only have a few days in them.

crystal pepsi??

An ill-fated idea back in the mid 90s where they started sellingpepsi without the caramel coloring. Most if not all sodas are perfectly clear without artificial colors getting added. I think their #1 mistake was actually changing the flavor rather than just excluding the color. It sold pretty well, it just wasnt that good, so once the curiosity factor had passed, the sales plummeted.

it kindo ftasted like gummy cola bottles, but in a carbonated drink, which is not aas good as it sounds.

Boobs are an area where it think it is best left to the ladies. If men want a pair, then can go find a nice lady friend to share hers for a while.

Yeah, and the thing is, you've gotta be faster than all of the other nit-wits trying to change the world for their own stuid devices.:D :D

By the way, your son is really cute.:)

Have you noticed a lack of common sense with these kids?
I just had a discussion with someone about the new RN's and they seem to be trained well but don't have a clue about anything not covered in the books!
Crazy.

Thanks for the compliment on my lil pug :) (yes I know... I also call him 'puppy' alot)
