nothing has ever been as cool as the pencil in the ankle.
there have been lots of movies with 'gore' but not as effective to me.

But the dude asked: What´s the MOST gore you´ve ever seen...
Can the answer be anything else than Sir. Peter Jackson´s "Dead Alive"?

I'm gonna throw my vote in for Dead Alive as well. The Lawnmower scene was enough for the entire movie

how come you comment on it in a post like youve seen it then say you havent seen it? And BTW its not difficult to find if you actually want to find it.

Dead Alive, Ichi the Killer, Bad Taste, Evil Dead 2
Those are all good answers. ^
I'd also add Demons to the list as well.

Dead Alive aka Braindead...
Is that the one when the 'priest' kicks ass for the Lord?
Lol...too funny...
You could also add Bad Taste and Meet The Feebles to the list.(if this is the Peter Jackson list...;) )
Meet The Feebles makes me shiver just thinking about it...

Dead Alive it is.
Then there was Zombie Holocaust, but much more mellower.

ok, its obvious that dead alive is the goriest, but i dont think evil dead was that gory at all, the melting scene, but not that bad. fulcis zombie was the first really in your face gory movie i had ever seen. the guinea pig collection is ridiculously gory, as well as the all night long series. cannibal holocaust was pretty nuts, especially the scenes when they really killed the animals, poor poor tortoise.
