I was glad to find out this game is set to be on the WII, which I'll be picking up within the next couple of months...

The Marvel Universe comes together in this multiplayer co-op action/beat 'em up with RPG elements. It looks great, the selection of characters is fucking remarkable, each with their own strengths and weaknesses, not to mention the ability to get in there 2-player will have to be some kickass fun...just thinking of what teams will work together could be awesome.
Cable, Ghost Rider, daredevil, spider-man, thor, but to mention a few...and, fucking DEADPOOL!
Each with their own storylines and stages too by the looks of things.

Dunno if it's currently out yet, but this looks like one hell of a game.

Glad something worth immediate purchase with the launch of the WII.

It's gonna be wicked to play as Ghost Rider.

Yeah, it'll be interesting to see how the "heavy hitters" perform in this one...Thor? Silver Surfer...etc, some of the fights'll have to be pretty intense to warrant their kinda power levels.
I have a feeling this one'll take out "best comic-based game ever", by the look of it. Can't wait.

Yeah,it looks better than the new Justice League IMO.

The new JLA one looks ok...and I'll probably get that too, but, there's no mistaking that M:UA looks waaaaaaay better.

I doubt I'll get it sense it's got the same play style as X-men legends.

Nope...Legends was turn-based no?
This one definately doesn't look that way...

You must be thinking of something else, Legends had an awesome battle engine. Far from "turn based".

If you havent check out Legends, I very highly recomend that you do so. Even though this one could easily beat it, Legends is without a doubt the best Marvel game that Ive played.

Really? That's cool...it was mainly the fact it looked turnbased that turned me off of it, even though I thought it looked great. Well, might pick it up sometime in future after all.
Although, I have to say, that this new Ultimate Alliance still looks like a completely different kind of game to that...to put a crap name on it, it looks like an rpg with beat em up elements...I just can't wait to play this game. 2-player is gonna be so funny.

We got this game the day it came out and it's still sealed. Terrible, I know...but we'll be playing it Friday night with some friends. Hopefully it's one I can do at LEAST ok with. I'm pretty bad with the X-Box 360 controller. I can't play anything I have to manually control the camera in.

I feel that.
I can't play a LOT of 3rd person games on account of the camera stuff, having to move it with one of the analogue sticks anyway. The system where you can rotate the cam using the shoulder buttons is ok and usually doable, but unfortunately not many games have that as an available option.
However, this one doesn't look as though it camera angles will really be an issue...

I'd play this just for Deadpool....

Yes! It's that damn stick. I'm all over the place with it. And then once I actually get to control it alright I start thinking too much about it and fuck it up again. Anyways, yeah, you're right it probably won't be an issue. Espescially since I'll be playing 4 player. I'll try and report my opinion of it Saturday.

Anyone actually played this yet?
Just wondering, since (hopefully) it'll be one of the titles I'm buying alongside the WII.

It's good but monotonous. I was disappointed with multiplayer and online playing, and apparently it's hard to see (ask Marroe about that one). If you're a comic fan it's a great buy, everyone else rent it.

can't get enough gore
