We've all done a lot of bitching about the new forum upgrade, myself included, so i thought, now that we've had a couple of weeks to get used to it, maybe it's time for Horror to get a little positive feedback
So, which of the new changes do you actually like and agree with?
For me, it's the '10 character minimum', *i'm fully prepared to be shot down, beaten to a pulp and sucked up through a straw* yes, it drives me nuts sometimes, especially in the tourneys, or when 1 word or an emoticon is the best response, but since it appeared two things have happened
Firstly, everyone has come up with very amusing ways round it :D
and second, people are replying to posts with actual sentences. Sentences garner many more replies than one word answers and we now having a lot more actual conversations which in turn keeps the threads alive, so yeah....
i like the '10 character minimum :p
What about the rest of you...... what changes do you like?

ten charachter minimum is good cause it gets rid of drivel posts, or it al least makes the driveler make their post in a semi thoughtful way, so i am super DOWN like downtown with that. i think in general just the fact that the nuke baords were old and at least it keeps the poeple who dont post eslewhere with the sign of the times is a favor for people who dont frewuent other forums. horror isn't going to try and take a dump on his baby. it's called learing to walk and we all need to take off our collective diapers at some point.

i like the PM meter... showing you how much space you have left.
(which is funny because as soon as i'm voted off the survivor thing I'll disable the PM function again)
i like the colour scheme (or lack of colour scheme) because i can finally see the slider bars now
i think its easier to pick fonts now
i miss the invisible function..
(i often forget to leave the forum before bed and i think it looks goofy if i appear to be here 12 hours straight)
the - not being able to post a picture function is a bit annoying - but in the long run it will force people to put a little more effort into the pictures they post which isnt always a bad thing..
for the most part - i was used to it in about 10 minutes.
my job/life has been all about change since forever ...
yes, i can be a crusty old bastard and ever body joint i have is completely seized up from years of abuse - but my mind is still extremely flexible :D

I'm too new to have known what it was like before the changes, but I do think the current format works well. The site is attractive, and it is easy to find my way around.

I like the new look of the forum, and I really like the new style of bold/italics etc. To me, it's much less cumbersome than typing what you want italicized in a little pop up. Overall, I'd say the changes are mostly positive, aside from being afraid to try to change my avatar now.

I think the avater thing can be done, i've noticed a few who have, but I'm not sure either

Some people can change their avatar but your choice is limited to 2.4kb, pretty crap really, has to be so small you can barely see it.... oh well, maybe if he gets enough positive feedback he'll give us more space

Ive never had anything against it. Took a day or so to get used to, but overall I think it's a better set-up than what we had.

Do you use the quick reply box? you need to either click post reply or go advanced (which is the same box), then the option to change font, size, colour etc is at the top, looks like a word doc toolbar :)
