Can someone tell me why exactly they're dubbing this a remake? I just watched the trailer and I see absolutely no resemblance to the original. I'm not biased against the film just because it's a remake (I really, really liked the 2004 Dawn of the Dead) but I have to say that this isn't looking so good.

Thats what I am saying Day of the Dead was a decent flick, and this looks nothing like the original. Also what is Rhymes doing back, People(not horror fans) may confuse him for his character in Dawn remake. I think they want to keep that title because they think they will make a lot more money if its a Romero Title !

I wasn't even sure if it was a zombie movie for a second seeing as it seemed to be about a girl wanting it to be 'special'. I don't mind sex in movies but I dont think it should be a point in a trailer for a film about zombies...just seems strange.

Also the rest of the trailer just sucked...Theres no other way to describe it really. Oh yeah, 'pile of shit' also springs to mind.

Nothing like the original at all, just using the name of a classic horror movie to make a fast buck.

It'll be the same old nonsense as usual, loads of silent parts, then one of those noise effects they put in to make you jump(they can't make a horror movie without doing that nowadays).And then super fast rave music when people are being chased by zombies to get your adrenaline going, followed by some cheesy lines, like.."EAT LEAD ZOMBIE!!"
