They will be making a Underworld 3 as a prequal.:)

It would great to see the 3 elders and how they treated one an other.

Now i am thinking they could easily make a Underworld 4 continuing from Underworld 2.

I am saying this because as Underworld 3 will be what happened in the past well they could have a scene that an elder or a very very powerful vampire escape from sight. Like that they could have a storyline to continue in Underworld 4 carrying on from Underworld 2.

Or in the end of Underworld 3 u see Victor be revived as his head was half split. and made a story that a vampire saved his body in time before the boat exploded.

Also they could make a story line that a vampire was more powerful then the 3 elders and locked him up. And they could make him the story in Underworld 4.

So i think there is a lot of hope for this. i would love to see a Underworld 3 & 4.

Wat u ppl think.

Looking forward to Underworld 3?

nope

Werewolves vs Vampires should be awesome, bloody fang-to-claw combat.

But they use guns.

Way to cut the balls off two classic monsters. They movies aren't terrible, they're simply soulless.

WHY!!?!

STOP WITH THE FUCKING PREQUALS, NOBODY GIVES A FLYING FUCK ABOUT THE BEGINNING!
IF you watch the first 2 close enough they explain alot of what happened in the past, what started the war, and how Kate Beckinsale became who she is. There is even a flash back sceen at the beginning of 2 that shows the origin of the 2 races, we even meet the father of the 2.

We don't need a prequal, its a fucking stupied idea!

Make an Underworld 3 but make it a sequal. Contiue with the hybrid storyline.
But in all honesty we don't need another sequal for this series.

I'm with Prelude here. Why make a prequel when they spent 50% of the first 2 films filling us in on the backstory? Seems kinda gimmicky and pointless to me, but I suppose it'll sell so the studios are blinded by dollar signs.

i'm not a fan of these movies - but the gun thing makes sense ..

they've been around for ever but they've evolved like the rest of civilization.
why not use the same instruments man has been using to try to kill these things ?

i didnt say it made for a better movie - but it makes sense... as much as anything to do with fantasy creatures can.

. .. a sort of illustration for a related point :

all predators always prefer to take the easy way ...
they arent brave .. they want an easy meal .. they know they can get hurt
killing their prey .. so they go for the weak, the sick, young. elderly, alone ...
doesnt matter how big they are or how long their teeth and fangs are ..

stands to reason vampires and werewolves (christ i feel stupid typing this) would also like to be able to kill from a distance with minimal effort.

I m against the whole versus series of movies...other than be mindless money-churners, they lack basic plotlines, good direction, casting and acting.

The only reason people watch it is to see their fav horror icons go at it. And the curiosity value of "who d win in such a situation?" Remember Howling VI? It sucked so bad people musta prayed to their gods never to visit another of those again...now we have a plethora of 'em hitting the theaters and dazzling the audiences with spoon-feeds of their inflated egocentric fights...

I sorta liked AvP with all its CGI and my two fav horror icons and all. But when I learnt that Cameron and Scott scrapped Alien 5, and McTiernan scrapped Predator 3 (which would have been WAY better and awesome movies) because of AvP, it went into my hate-list pretty quick.

FvJ was decent. Not great by any stretch of the imagination. But doesnt it look pointless to pit two icons who cannot be killed?

At least vampires and werewolves have their weak spots. Daylight, stakes, crosses, holy water, silver bullets, decapitation etc. etc. As was shown in Van Helsing, let 'em use their swiftness, brutality and form changing...maybe some good will come out of it.

As you can tell, I was really disappointed by Underworld Evolution.

well, considering its just yet another variation on Romeo and Juliet ... you cant expect much.

what they should have done is made it into a musical - to make it more like West Side Story variant.. at least the songs would be funny

on the site it says that they would like to make as well a Underworld 4 and that will be a sequel to Underworld 2.

So maybe as in Underworld 2 all the elders die and the werewolves elders die. Maybe they want to find someone powerful in Underworld 3 in the past and then put him in Underworld 4?

that would just be retarded, im mean no ill things harm to you, but shut up. there is such thing as thaking a film/ franchise to far. i liked both the first and second film but if they made any more it would just kinda kill the series. so in closing there dont need to be anymore elders, tough guys( because some how fucking kate and scotts characters would always win), cults, bloodlines, or sequels/ prequels. so now just go away and watch the 2 films that have already been made, so basicly im saying be happy with what you got.
