I hate to admit it...But...I need a little assistance here...
I want to get some of Bette Davis's best movies...I want to buy them all at once and be done with it
I remember watching her movies when I was younger, and I noticed that she added an element of 'creepiness' that you just couldn't get from anyone else (well, except maybe Vincent Price...Actually...I think Bette Davis could have scared the hell outta Vincent Price...lol)...I loved her for that
Anyway...The problem I'm having is I can't remember them all at the moment
These are the ones I'm getting for sure:
Burnt Offerings
Watcher In The Woods
The Nanny (one of my all-time favorites)
Whatever Happened To Baby Jane?
Hush Hush Sweet Charlotte
I really only want the best ones...Not stuff like that 'Wicked Stepmother' movie, or whatever it was called...

I have quite a few but there are still some not released on DVD yet. But this link is her entire filmography. Hope it helps/ And she was a phenomlnal actress. You have impecable taste.Thanks...I had actually found that...But...Umm...
I was a bit younger when I saw these (okay, I was a little kid)...And...I can't quite remember what all of them were about...That's why I really need some input from you guys
I'm only interested in the horror movies that she did (of course) and only the best out of those...So, a bit of information and your personal opinions along with the titles would really help...
I already know what Jezebel was about...I remember most of that one...I can't make up my mind about whether or not I really wanna get that one though...It's kinda on the fence...I think I will end up getting it...
At the moment, I'm trying to figure out what Dark Secret Of Harvest Home was about
EDIT: I just looked up that last one...I think I WILL get that one...I don't remember seeing it...But, it sounds like it would be one that I'm looking for

You absolutely must add
All About Eve
Dead Ringer
and maybe even
The Anniversary - it's a comedy, but it comes from Hammer Studios and Ms Davis plays a one-eyed hen-pecking mother with twice the malicious bravado of Christopher Lee or Peter Cushing.

This is why getting personal information HERE is so beneficial to me
For example...
If Vod hates a movie...I'll probably love it...lol
Newb seems to like almost ALL of the same things I do...So, his opinion is very valuable
And of course...There are others here who like things that I don't (but, not many)...I could use THEIR opinions to help me steer clear of something :p

I want to thank you for this thread, Rayne. You've given me a new movie drive, now that I have Suspiria in my hot little hands.

....*sighs* Waiting for the next big ol' golfing tournament so's I can have our media room with the perks without, again, "Why do you watch that shit?"
"Because I'm an adult!?"
Believe me, please...! I want to to. I've had it for three weeks. My figers itch, my mind is titilated. Last week was vacation, so that was no good. This week there should be a golfing match, plus!!! It's "that time o' year."
Believe me, Return, you'll be the first to know, because you'll have an over enthusiasiastic PM from me... probably by next Sunday.

Heh heh.....I once saw a grown man reduced to screaming jelly by Suspiria.
Hell, I wasn't in very good shape the first time I saw it, either. That movie's just a little bit much. Just a litta bit.
