I read a new novel called Spiritual Sorrow. It starts out with a young boy named David who has an abusive father. One evening his father comes home drunk and kills David's mother. Of course, this is just the beginning as his father meets an untimely death with help from something mysterious.

This something is not mortal and later in his life David realizes he is possessed by this "friend" that is actually a powerful demon.

This demon helps David. At least, he thinks the evil spirit is helping and David must finally take action to stop this menace in his life, with the help of his son, before it is too late.

The story has a few surprises and twist and will keep you reading. However, as with most self published novels, it can use some editing in certain parts to make it less predictable and a bit more original. You can read the first chapter by clicking on the link below then post your opinion.

Here is a link to the first chapter if the first one doesn't work. If you like demon possession novels with a twist then you should read this one.
