He actually seems to be something of a B-movie auteur. Squirm, Blue Sunshine, Just Before Dawn...

Man, I hate Squirm (except for the MST episode), but I've been wanting to see Blue Sunshine before I can make my mind up about the guy. He's also got a new flick coming out called Satan's Little Helper that sounds really cool. On the fence with him at the moment.

Do you know what Satan's Little Helper is about? I recorded Blus Sunshine on cable and it turned out to be in widescreen.

It's about a young boy that joins a group of Satanists for a series of murders on Halloween night. Sounds promising. Amanda Plummer and Stephen Graham (from Snatch) are in it. That's all I know.

Haven't watched it yet to see if it has stood the test of time, but I got SQUIRM for Christmas. Pretty cool -- my mom got it for me 'cause she knew I'd been wanting it for "sentimental value." SQUIRM happens to be one of the first movies I can remember scaring the hell out of me when I was a kid . . . .

Really looking forward to revisiting this one as soon as I can. Based on my shitty memory, it's one of the greatest movies ever made . . . but you know how that goes. I sorta doubt that opinion will hold up now, but I'm sure it's gonna be a lot of fun! :)

Let us know what you think of it after the revisiting. And may I recommend the MST episode as well.

I was going through my vhs tapes and realized that not only do I own a Jeff Leiberman film, but I love a Jeff Leiberman film: Remote Control. Never realized he directed it.

Ah, Ritualistic...Frenchman's Farm is truly a rare find. I think I liked it, but my viewing of it was a bit hurried because I rented like eight movies from a vid store 2 hours away and had a day and a half to watch them all. Unfortunatley this meant I fastforwarded thru the last half of Frenchman's Farm. Hope that desn't make me a poseur.
