He did the Subsecies movies, Remote, and was DP on some of Charles Band's early stuff. I actually think his stuff is pretty atmospheric to be so low budget.

Not a fan. I loved the first Subspecies but they couldn't work that magic a second, third, or fourth time. I'd like to have the first on DVD, I'm not sure if it's out though. Did you see Vampire Journals? It was a spinoff of Subspecies.

I'll agree that he does capture a good atmosphere though. But then again, all those films are shot in Romania.

I thought Vampire Journals was cool the way it brought in the subspecies characters. It had mucho crappy cover art, though. I dig his lighting, lots of blues and yellows. Probably comes from his stint as a DP. I agree that the Subspecies aren't classics, but better than almost everything else released by Full Moon, and they look look lots better.

Yes, the first Subspecies was one of Full Moon's best releases ever. Other favorites from them include Castle Freak, Puppermaster, and The Dead Hate the Living.

The first two Subspecies movies were released on DVD (unfortunately their both out of print and were both region 2)

A campaign was also started to try to help get the first 3 a region 1 release... there's a link to it in my signature. Right now their just mainly trying to see how much of an interest there would be for the dvds.

i think eventually they'd like to. Full moon kind of disappeared for a while (became shadow entertaiment) then Shadow disappeared it seemed....

last I heard was that Denice and Ted were buying the rights (i think they got them but not positive) From Charles Band for the Subspecies movies (that was back in november). So it looks like they still want to make it ;) Anders is supposed to be in a play starting sometime next month though ...

It does look like Denice and Ted still want to go ahead with the movie though at some time in the future.

and my boyfriend runs the Radu's Bloodbath site so he usually hears all the news in the Subspecies world before me...but if i hear any new news about Sub 5 i'll put it up when i hear it ;)

i just tried the page in IE (usually use Firebird) and it brings up an ad right after the page loads... maybe it's the ad that's messing your browser up...

I turned my pop-up killer off and I got the page and the ad. The ad stayed but the page went white again. It's gotta be my computer. I'm confused as well. Maybe I can figure it out later.

i think i found the problem... when you open the page an ad pops up infront of the page...if your on dialup the page looks blank.... try closing the blank window the page should still be behind it ....

Ok going to try getting back to the original reason for this post ;)

I've seen the following movies that Ted has worked on...

Subspecies 1, 2,3 & 4 loved all of them ;)
Vampire Journals liked it as well ;)
Terrorvision (dont remember that one too much saw it when i was a lot younger)

hehe even saw the two Leprechaun movies he did for i believe disney ;)
(the castle in that movie looks awful familiar...now where have i seen it before ;)

and he also worked on (sound guy) on the first texas chainsaw massacre....thats' his van they drive around in in the movie (always thought that was funny ;)

My favorite movies of his are Subspecies and Bad Channels. I hated Vampire Journals, but to each his own. He was also the editor of Ghoulies and Tourist Trap.
