When i turn on my computer it goes on hold right before opening windows xp. There´s just the windows xp logo and the loading line, that keeps loading and loading and loading and loading...
I´m sure others in here has experienced the same problem.
How do you fix it???

Yeah, but i was hoping i could somehow avoid restoring..
What exactly are my options in safe mode except for:
1. Start computer in safe mode.
2. Start computer in safe mode with networking
3. Start computer in safe mode with comand... something..
Each of those 3 options get me inside windows xp, but they doesn´t fix the problem. I still can´t start win xp in normal mode or last known config. that works..

Mine does this all the time. And then sometimes it will saw my password needs to be reset even though I don't use a password.
If I do a scan disk, disk clean up then a disk defrag it fixes it.
Have you tried doing that? You should do that on a regular basis anyway.
