I'm back again. Been let out for good behaviour, hopefully for a while this time!

Anyways.... I'm sure this topic has been done a trillion, zillion times before, but what the heck, it hadn't stopped anybody else!

I recently saw the remake of Texas Chain Saw Massacre on terrestrial TV, and have to say I preferred it to the original and as for King Kong, (oops sorry Peter Jacksons' ...) I don't consider it to be a remake rather an "homage" to the original.

I think the originals are usually better, but you do grow to like the remakes just as well.

i have no idea how anyone could ever possibly prefer the remake of TCM over the original.
you're entitled to your opinion

Honestly I hate how they changed so many things in the remake of TCM, like the brother was not in a wheel chair, they picked up a wierd chic who had been tortured at the house instead of the wierd guy who was part of the family, then the wierd neighbor ladies, that is not in the 1st one either, she ends up at the store or something where the sheriff takes her back to the house after he knocks he out with a broom. but that big old lady i think is in the prequel coming out. Anyways, I think the remake could have been a ton better if they actually remade it instead of totally changing it.
