Hello,
I'm not very much into a lot of horror movies, but there are a few that I really enjoy. Certain ones like The Mothman Prophecies or The Gift, in which the focus is more on the paranormal but it isn't really hokey or clearly a B-movie are a couple... So, I think I mean to say very creepy movies that aren't straight up unbelievable. Could anyone recommend me more movies that are like this? I'm looking to get that fear that I felt the first time I finished watching Mothman in the dark.

Rosemary's Baby
Poltergeist
The Haunting (1963)
The Blair Witch Project

...to name a few.

If you're religious, the Exorcist is plausible.
Halloween

Dead Birds....

I've said that so many times, I'm surprised I haven't been accused of making the movie and am spamming it.

Oddly enough, my first post ever here was in a thread about that movie.
