Okie dokei, here goes.....
I am ramping up to do some major writing in the near future,a nd to make some more updates to scared yet. one of the updates is that i have a couple of mascot characters in mind, and was looking for either a comic artist, or perhaps a 3d artist (to make poseable, animateable models) of the characters for fun little additoons and easter eggs to the site.
The other thing i am looking at is that i am probably going to be starting up several serialized stories, like Gloom (only, i will actually be writing and releasing them on a regular basis) and had been entertaining the thought of turning at least one of them into either a comic series or graphic novel. What i am looking for in an artist for the comic would be someone interesting in doing dark fantasy art. You would have input into everything, but it is my story, so i would retain the final word on plot and what went in to the final cut.
For starters, this would be for the fun of it, but if the chance to make cash were to come up, the artist would then become a contracted full business partner, and we would hammer out the details of money distribution and such. Trust me, i am extremey fair.
I dont really want to release any details quite yet, but please, feel free to post any replies here (as i cant check my home email from work), especially examples of artwork ( i may open up a "pimp your talent" section on scaredyet).
However, i will probably keep most of the communication with whomever i end up working with to IM and email, so you can reach me at vodstok@scaredyet.net
