I have been looking for a good copy of the Jeffery Combs classic from beyond on dvd? I have only found some crappy VCD on ebay. Anyone find anything decent out there with commentary or anything on it???

As far as I know, this one hasn't been released from an actual DVD company (trust me, I've been looking). There's some foreign ones and some bootlegs flying around but I wouldn't buy those. This is another one of those flicks that I can't understand why it's not on DVD.

I figured with all the Beyond Re Animator hype Anchor Bay might pick this one up or Elite but looks like nothing. Shame too it is probably one of the best monster flicks from the 80's. Pitty how much crap from the 80's gets released and a Yuzna/Gordon gem like this gets no respect. But the new Re Animator was good so that will cool my Combs fix for now.

You called From Beyond a gem and you liked Beyond Re-animator. We could be friends.

Ahhh, Society. Where to start. I guess with the bizarre goo orgy. Crazy film by Yuzna. Loved it. I hear rumors of a sequel.
