What does it mean when I have a black dot over the letter icon after I post a thread? Other people have little letters or flames. What does this mean?

open envelope = unread posts in the thread
flames = popular thread (so many views/posts)
from memory
black dots = thread you have posted in (hence no black dots for me in general :cool: )
