I have a horror movie that is going into production the first week of December in Missouri.
As per contractual obligations (it's a tax rebate thing) we have to cast several roles locally.

There are no Missouri actors here who want to be in a cool horror movie?
It's being produced by Rod Fried (Rudy, Boondock Saints, Godzilla) and we already have foreign distribution through Pathe, so this isn't some lame deal.
Anybody?

Wanna ship me out from Chicago? :)
What's the movie called, and did you write it?

Yeah I wrote it with my writing partner.
It's called DAMNED and it's a demented, religious take on "the cabin in the woods" story.
Logline -
An all-american family survives a horrific plane crash only to descend into a backwoods nightmare of demon-fearing religious zealots.
you an actor, Alky?

Sounds very cool.
Not technically, I'm striving to be a director. That said, along with directing, I act in all the little low-budget films we create here in our small town. My take is if it's film, you can count me in to do anything of involvement.
I hope your film goes as well as it sounds. Let's hope it brings back our roots!

I wish I was closer to Missouri...
I do alot of stage acting where I am (Eastern Canada), but havent had the opportunity to make the jump to film yet.
I applied to be an extra in a horror film that was being filmed here by a semi-successful director (Albert Magnoli, did Purple Rain and Tango & Cash, among other things), but it fell through:(
A girl that used to be in the threatre company that Im in had a fairly big part in Jericho Mansions, which I thought was pretty cool.
Heh, if you're ever shooting in this neck of the woods...Im availible:p

Sorry, bwind - Mo. actors only.
But yes, there is room & board & pay & craft services - a real movie shoot. I'll be in Mo in 10 days for the start of pre-production.
I'm really excited. Cast is shaping up, I'll let you all know as things become locked down.:D

Love the enthusiasm from everyone, but here's he deal.
This is a professional production with a $2million budget and a full crew in place. We will be casting Missouri based actors (meaning you must have proof of Mo. residence) for a few tasty roles.
Obviously there's no one here from the Show Me State.
