So I've pretty much been glued to the tube the last few days watching all the United Nations stuff going on and I must say that this Hugo Chavez (President of Venezuela) fucker is a fuckin' pile of shit.

http://aporrea.org/imagenes/2005/09/hugo-chavez-02.jpg

He comes to our country and absolutely rips the shit out of it and our president in front of a room full of delegates. Yesterday in a 22 minute speech he called Bush ''el diablo'' a total of 8 times and then followed it up with a press conference where he told a room full of reporters that America is on the way down.

The irony is that in the US, he has the right to say whatever he wants because we have freedom of speech, but how about in his own country of Venezuela? A person would be locked away for the next 10 years if they tried publically criticizing his fat ass or his regime.

And while I'm on a political rant, fuck the president of Iran too. He tries to come across all peaceful and righteous yet on several different occasions he has called for the utter decimation of the entire country of Israel.

Two things I've been wondering about in the last few days...

1- Why do we let these so called arch enemies of ours in to our country to begin with?

and

2- Why the hell doesn't someone snipe them while they are here?

I mean, I haven't seen Bush or Blair hanging out in Iran or Venezuela recently and it's probably because they'd get assassinated. Does that make us pussies or good people?

I think it makes us good ppl.

Here's another question...

Are you and I the only people on this forum paying attention to what's going on in the world ? Because we certainly seem to be the only ones contributing to this topic.

I'm all over it.

And as a bleeding heart liberal pussy, I believe he has the right to his opinions.

I'll go one further and engourage him to keep talking, because with every word, every gesture he proves to the entire world what a complete dipshit he is and how a theocracy - any theocracy, be it Christian, Muslim, Jew, Scientologist - is backward bullshit that only breed hatred and exclusivity. And anyone who says his country isn't a theocracy is fucking kidding themselves - howmany times did he make the sign of the cross during that address?

I'm certainly no fan of our current administration, but even W doesn't sound this retarded...most of the time.

A liberal? In Hollywood? You MUST be joking. hahaha

He definately has the right to his opinions, but shouldn't his own citizens have the right to theirs as well?

I was watching some pundits on CNN yesterday and one was democrat, the other republican and they both came to the easy conclusion that no matter what Americans think of Bush, we're all on his side when it comes to this particular issue.

People like Chavez do anything they can for publicity.....he's a pompous blowhard and the world is his stage.
Some people will do anything to be noticed, even if the attention is negative.....because they feel it gives them power.
And look how much recognition it's brought him so far. It's been plastered all over the place since the minute he said it.

You guys are aware of the approval rating chavez has in his country becuase he is re-claiming oil jobs from foreign workers and giving them to his people? As well as the fact that he is starting to tighten the noose on all the exports and the tarriffs companies have to pay to get it out? And that the US buy like 60% of their oil and thats where like 15% of your oil comes from? At least the crazy dude in Iran isnt super popular in his country, chavez could probably lead his country to war against the US right now they love his stank ass so bad. If you want to see a real bad guy read up on Robert Mugabe and what he's managed to do to his country and people over the last 10 to 20 years. At least all Chavez is doing is being a pompus fuck, and that's just cause he can be.

You do realize that the "President of Iran" is a puppet, right? The Ayatollah runs the place, thus the reason it's a theocracy.

Frankly, and this may seem fatalistic, I think we're all on the way down.

I know somebody who has a wife from Venezuela and they used to go there frequently. Unfotuanatly they don't go anymore because... well...

Violent crime in Venezuela has spiked in recent months. The country has the highest per-capita murder rate in the world. Armed robberies take place in broad daylight throughout the city, including areas generally presumed safe and frequented by tourists. Well armed criminal gangs operate with impunity, often setting up fake police checkpoints. Kidnapping is a particularly serious problem, with more than 1,000 reported during the past year alone. There have been several high profile kidnappings that have resulted in murder, including the killings of three minor Canadian brothers, a wealthy Italo-Venezuelan businessman, and the daughter of a senior Venezuelan military commander. Investigation of all crime is haphazard and ineffective. In the case of high-profile killings, the authorities quickly round up suspects, but rarely produce evidence linking these individuals to the crime. Only a very small percentage of criminals are tried and convicted.

Maiquetia Airport, the international airport serving Caracas, is dangerous and corruption is rampant. Concerns include personal property theft, muggings, and “express kidnappings” in which individuals are taken to make purchases or to withdraw as much money as possible from ATMs, often at gunpoint. The Embassy has received multiple, credible reports that individuals with what appear to be official uniforms or other credentials are involved in facilitating or perpetrating these crimes. For this reason, American citizen travelers should be wary of all strangers, even those in official uniform or carrying official identification. There are also known drug trafficking groups working from the airport. Travelers should not accept packages from any persons and should keep their luggage with them at all times.

Because of the frequency of robberies at gunpoint, travelers are encouraged to arrive during daylight hours if at all possible. If not, travelers should use extra care both within and outside of the airport. The Embassy strongly advises that all arriving passengers make advance plans for transportation from the airport to their place of lodging. If possible, travelers should arrange to be picked up at the airport by someone who is known to them. The Embassy has received frequent reports recently of armed robberies in taxicabs going to and from the airport at Maiquetia. There is no foolproof method of knowing whether a taxi driver at the airport is reliable. The fact that a taxi driver presents a credential or drives an automobile with official taxi license plates marked “libre” is no longer an indication of reliability. Incidents of taxi drivers in Caracas overcharging, robbing, and injuring passengers are common. Travelers should take care to use radio-dispatched taxis or those from reputable hotels. Travelers should call a 24-hour radio-dispatched taxi service from a public phone lobby or ask hotel, restaurant, or airline representatives to contact a licensed cab company for them.

Looks like Hugo Chavez is doing a great job, maybe he shouldn't worry about the US.

Democrat Charles Rangel- You don't come into my country and condemn my president.

Even the DEMOCRATS know Hugo Chavez is a PRICK.
