Dungeon of Harrow is a weird flick! Pretty good for a buck. Not the scariest thing I ever saw, but it's got a lot of weird going on.

0.99 martial art flicks, and some 0.99 horror VHS... but the cheapest Horror DVD I ever found was for $6.99 - and that's a wide range of them. House on Haunted Hill & The Bat DF MAY have been 2.99... but I can't remember a year and a half back.

My aunt bought me a bunch of $1 DVDs from the dollar store last week.
Creature
King of the Zombies
Night of the Living Dead (hooray, now I have 5 copies)
Horror Hotel
The Severed Arm
Dead Men Walk
Christmas Evil
Scream of the Wolf
------------------------
I went there the other day to see if they had I Drink your Blood but they didn't. The company that made all those^^ $1 DVDs made that a $1 DVD as well. I love these $1 DVDs :)

Yep that makes sense. A few scenes and a great cover make it all worthwhile.
Fuck.... a title like Fangs of the Living Dead for $1! I'm there dude :D
I'd be able to make a t-shirt outta the cover at least.

unfortunately these $1 titles are public domain and absolutely nothing goes into them .. shitty copies from shitty sources.
if its the only way to get it - so be it - but it just isnt worth it for films like Dr Calgari or NOTLD that need and deserve special care..

Some people have other things they need to spend their money on besides $30 DVDs. Important things. Like, comic books.

I thought It Happened at Nightmare Inn was absolutely fuckin' terrible!!! I'd probably drop $1 on if I had never seen it, but having seen it, I can honestly say that I think you got overcharged by about .98 cents.

yeah as far as spending my money....it basically all goes on dvd's and comics.......like the other day (when i thought i was pennyless) my mother told me not to go buying anything, so i asked like what....and she said what you usually come back with, dvd's and comics....and dont go saying oh mum they were really cheap so i spent £50 on them....please.....
i did buy some dvd's and comics....but they were cheap....i had been paid..

Yeah, I have a friend who encourages me. I'll say something like, "I shouldn't have bought that laserdisc or that DVD" and he'll say "You need entertainment, if you don't have entertainment you'll get stressed out and you'll be unhappy."
I think he's trying to make himself feel better because he does the same thing...sees some cool thing in the store and spends money that really should go towards something "responsible." !
Excuse me, I have to go watch my EuroShock Collection version of "Horror Express" now.
You know, if I were to be asked a question like, "If someone gave you twenty million dollars to do a remake of something, what would it be?" I would probably say "Horror Express." I hate remakes but you could do a few things with that.
And then kids would go and see it and have no idea that there was an original version that came out like 35 years ago.
