Is that the Alien from Alien or the wall crawler from Resident Evil?
I can't quite tell, but I've been saving my back for a full length Alien tattoo for years.

It's an Alien. heres a closer pic from right after i got it done, so you can see it better http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v205/anm4521/ali015-2.jpg Im thinking about getting dark green shading in the light spots. i know aliens arent green but i think it would add a cool touch. not sure yet though.

Now I'm really jealous.:p
Some of the people we know are going to make a trip up to Seattle, because one of their old school friends works at a shop up there called Under The Needle and they swear he'll be the best bet for a complicated Giger tat....and it's going over ALL of my back, so I want it to be perfect.
That's a beautiful tat though. I would add color if that's what you want. Green would look great.

Personally, if you want some colour on it I would opt for some blue as there is a lot of blue lighting in the films. Green could still look cool though.

There are a lot of good tat shops in Seattle. Lucky Devil is awesome. There's a guy there called Erik Eye who does some awesome Giger style work.

I guess their friend's name is Micah Chikowitz (not sure how to spell it) and I've never met him personally, but I saw a spread in a tattoo magazine with his work in it. He seems really good. I just want my back to be perfect, I've spent a lot of money fixing tattoos that I have that were not up to what they should be. I'll check out Lucky Devil too though, I really want to find the best guy (or gal) for the job.
