Does anyone else here listen to this band?

I've been meaning to pick up some of their cds. They are fucking cool.... some great drumming. I like how the symbols sound on the recordings.

I've heard about 5 of their songs. They are pretty cool. My girlfriend got me into them not too long ago.

Oh hell man, My girlfriend listens to heavier shit than me. All of the bands she mentions are like Dying Fetus or heavier.

It's not fair, my music is light compared to hers.

I'd be pretty happy to find a headbanger chick. I wouldn't be intimidated at all. A lot of my old girlfriends were into Alternative stuff, lame 80s Madonna crap and if they did listen to anything metal it'd be Metallica or Ozzy ballads. They usually hated a bunch of my stuff especially the Death or Grindcore albums.

I'm not intimidated in the least, it's just kind of annoying when she won't let me play my music in my car. She always takes out my CD's and puts hers in.

Sometimes it's kind of nice, but she has an extensive knowledge about heavier bands, and I do as-well. But she thinks mine are bogus and likes to show her knowledge of bands.

That's the reason I'm going back to what I originally listened to....Industrial.

I used to like a bunch of industrial stuff way back in the 90s. It doesn't really do much for me these days. I still love Godflesh's Streetcleaner album and the Downward Spiral is one of my all time favorite records. You should check out Iron Lung they do this industrial/grindcore thing. They sound like a fucking crazy out of control machine at times.... pretty abrasive but it grows on you.

I just downloaded some Godflesh, and they're pretty good.

I'm trying to find some Iron Lung, but I'm not having a lot of luck.

Well, if you guys like Death Metal/Grindcore as well as Industrial, you should try and listen to The Berzerker, a crazy Aussie band that mixes all three styles...

Ah, I'm slow tonight. 12 hours of sleep in the past four nights total is kind of throwing me over.

I'll check into that album too by the way.

Are you sure you weren't origanally talking about foetus not fetus?

Foetus is a guy from melbourne who has been releaseing industrial stuff since the early to mid 80's, he is known worldwide. It's one of those nick cave connections
