Alot of people love (An American Werewolf in London)but you never hear about (Innocent blood) Why is that?
Innocent Blood is a great vampire movie. It's funny, and it has a few scares. The sultry Anne Parillaud is the bloodsucker who feeds only on bad guys.If you like John Landis give this horror/comedy a try.

A novel idea for a movie, and Chaz Palminterri (spelling?) is great in it.

Innocent Blood is a great flick. I remember it getting panned when it came out. Definatley an overlooked gem. Its called French Vampire in America over here which put a lot of people off I think.

Landis can't get over the curse of the Twilight Zone Movie.
Ever since the accident on the set.
For those of you who don't know, - Vic Morrow (the lead in Landis' lead in the racist-gets-his-due segment) was killed on-camera. While filming the Vietnam sequence a helicopter experienced "pilot error" and collapsed onto the set. The propellors effectively decapitated Morrow.
Since then, people can't really get into his material...it sucks, but there really is a lingering stygma on the man.:(

glad to be of service
I thought Inocent Blood was a fun flick, but most things pale in comparison to An American Werewolf in London

I'd always heard that. I knew he died while filming, but thought that the decapitation on camera was one of those urbin legand things.
Landis isn't to bad. Can't say I like his straight comedy films. Haven't seen his Masters Of Horror yet, but looking forward to it.

Landis has always been a favorite director of mine and I'll always respect him for directing a movie largely while wearing a monkey costume as he did with "SCHLOCK."
He is also a serious film geek and his "COMING SOON" trailer collection tape for Universal is VERY well done, I recommend that everyone try to find a VHS copy because it's not out on DVD. Less than an hour long but densely packed with well-edited material.

and all the jokes that followed, like how Vic Morrow was now an honorary member of the Rotary Club
