I have somethign i am working on at work (duh) that is driving me nuts... I never understyood why p[eople hated Crystal Reports so much (dont feel bad if you have no idea what im talking about. you dont want too) but they are shit to code with.
Ever work with something where part of it wont work, no matter what you do? No matter how well you check things and you make 100% sure everything is how it should be, it just wont work.
And with this, the error messages basically amount to "Something is wrong". No fucking shot, it doesnt work, clearly something is wrong. WHAT is wrong?
Sometimes i hate computers....

I figured it out....
i was using outdated code.
here's a good analogy:
Try using the engine from a model t in a brand new jetta. Aint gonna work, or it will work very poorly and eventually break. Same thing here.
