funny thing was... i was so into these films back in the day when they came out ... there were a ton of them ...

probably goes a long way to explain why I hate 80's slashers so much today.

they were just churned out, became hard to differentiate between them.

thing is - they were pumping them out when the home video market was just taking off .. most of the mainstream rental places didnt get this kind of stuff in but there was one place that cycled their movies every 2 weeks - and they got in absolutely every b-movie turd you can think of - and i ate them up as fast as they could get them .. and dubbed all of them to beta.
eventually i bought them used when that market opened up.

which is why i have so many of these things that are OOP and near impossible to find.

when i have the time (haw haw haw) I'd like to convert them all to DVD.

Xploited Cinema

It's the uncut fullscreen version. (PAL)

I dont wont this one.It's fullscreen,and its 30 dollars.
They have the widescreen version of THE DARK HALF.(region 2)
I'm going to buy this one,and burn my MGM fullscreen version.

This is a film I really dig. Its a pity the only version over here is heavily cut. I love slashers and this is a overlooked gem of trash cinema. Did they release this twice in the states/Canada? First as Fall Break then The Mutilator?

i found it on amazon finally. its out of print, and going for $50. i enjoy colecting movies that are rare, but only if they are good. is this film full of gory goodness or should i not bother?

The dvd is all regional, but it's PAL.
You need a dvd player that converts PAL to NTSC.
Go to www.samstores.com
