All right, we all know that the current spate of horror remakes is tremendously annoying, but it's hardly a new phenomenon. Remakes/translations/rip-offs are as old as cinema history.

I've read that "The Most Dangerous Game" is one of the most remade films of all time (Personal fav's "Escape 2000" aka "Turkey Shoot" and "Predator") but it seems to me that nothing has been as heavily adapted and remade as "Dracula."

A quick imdb search resulted in over 150 flicks with "Dracula" in the title.

Personally a big fan of "Santo y Blue Demon contra Dracula yel Hombre Lobo"

So...what's your favorite over-remade/ripped off film?

Go wierd - go deep.

Like I need to ecourage such behavior in this lot.

Do you just like the title, or are you a fan of the movies with Mexican wrestlers in them?

Love Santo! Have several of his flicks on DVD and used to tune into the local Spanish-speaking UHF channel when I was a kid.
