Dog May Not Survive

EASTPOINTE, Mich. -- A homeless man could spend 15 years in prison on a sodomy charge after police said he had sex with his brother's dog.

Police said 33-year-old Delbert Holliday raped the dog in his brother's garage in Eastpointe.

Holliday was arraigned Friday in 38th District Court.

A preliminary examination is set for Aug. 22.

Police said the dog may not survive.

Additional information on the dog was not available.

I'm not in favor of animal rape or anything, but 15 yrs seems a bit much. Anyone know offhand the sentence for raping a person?

I'm not in favor of animal rape or anything, but 15 yrs seems a bit much. Anyone know offhand the sentence for raping a person? Depends on if it's aggravated and so on, but i think 10-20 on average. i bet my wife knows...

i think anythign that qualifies as true rape, basically they didnt want it but they got it anyway (or didnt know they were getting it) should be punishable by life. It should be treated like murder, becaus eeither way, the person's life is destroyed. Same with child molestation.

Lock em up, and tatoo the crime on their forehead in bright colors.

What they need to do is take all rapist, child molesters and murders out in a field and torture them for hours and hours them kill them very very slowly.

The reason for that is casue when my cousin got raped her father, my uncle found the guy before the police did,took him back to his house and beat the shit out of the dude in his basement for hours before giving him back to the police.

I think it's right that the guy got 15 years for it. I mean if he was heartless enough to do it to an animal who is saying he wouldn't rape a person next?
It's a crime and should be treated as a crime.
I'm a big animal lover and I think justice has been done from that. I remember reading an article about a cat being killed by being put in a washing machine and the woman was given I think it was 6 months.
