Hi. I am looking to host my first ever Halloween party this Oct. Seeing as I've never done this before, I really need help and tips on how to make it work...I'm sure some of the posters in these forums have had some excellent Halloween parties over the years! What worked for you? What kind of foods did you have? What about decorations? Did your party have a theme? Did you play any types of games at the party? Also, this is being planned as an adult party.

Thanks!

Well, of course. Someone has to wear the skimpy Jack in the Box outfit & jump out of the evil cake.

Check this page out, and then try clicking on the "MONSTERS CRASH THE PAJAMA PARTY" VHS tape. I recommend it. I don't recommend the DVD for the party because it does not have a "play all" option and the tape will at least play continually for 2 hours.

It is packed with horror shorts and two-bit spook show trailers, and the big feature is the title piece, "THE MONSTERS CRASH THE PAJAMA PARTY," an uber-cheesy no budget film originally created to play the spook show circuit with live monster actors lunging out of the darkness to scare the crap out of theatregoers.

Having a suitable party tape is a good start. It will provide weird noises and will help keep people sort of excited. I would also have everyone bob for apples, but that might be a little too wild for some.

invite over a freind named Robert and have people bob for Bob. As long as it's women playing, i garuntee bob will be a friend for life.

Build an altar, have black candles and red and black food, and NEVER invite David Hasselhoff. He will unleash the Dark Lord, and I don't mean Satan.....trust me, if he ever asks if you want to see the "Dark Lord," just say no and RUN.....
