Bad Brains

I've been listening to their self titled album all day:

These guys are great. Cool mix of 80s hardcore with some dub reggae thrown in. Awesome......

Anyone else a fan?

The Bad Brains are one of the first punk....eerrr, hardcore bands that got me into that music.

Amazingly talented band. I have that album. And it has a ton of great songs. It isn't my favorite.

They have one of the best live cd's of all time "Youth Are Getting Restless: Live in Amsterdam"

Their album "black dots", is raw sounding... But very powerful. It's like the self-title. Maybe even more raw sounding.

"Omega Sessions" is badass. I say skip "I against I". Get the few songs off that. They're great.

Probably Bad Brain's best album is "Rock for Light".

I'll have to check out Rock For Light. I've only really listened to the self titled album. I've been dragging out a whole bunch of 80s shit and revisiting it.
