This is how I usually spend my Sunday mornings. I like to call it my 'study time' because all I do is have beers & spend hours on snopes, straighdope & wikipedia reading about whatever catches my eye. Of course, I obviously take a little time to chat with you cats;)

I'm not "Sunday morning drinking" like yourself, Flayed, cuz I have to drive 3 and a half hours to get back to Iowa, where I can rot away in a state devoid of trees, nightlife and marijuana...

I feel you, IA. I'm in Indiana, myself. It's pretty hellish.

y'all need to move to LA.
I had dinner on the beach last night, going to drive up into the mountians for a hike in a few minutes and here - the weed flows like wine (which is also grown and vinted here along with some fantastic local beers.)
Ahhh, California

Oh, yeah, L.A's great if you like smog and traffic and chicks with dicks.
I'm just not into the SoCal rat race.
NorCal is cooler and cleaner, and this is also where all the weed gets grown. And there's still a million things to do without the massive crush of people.

Yeah, that pretty much sums it up. That, and all the lazy people I'm paying for that get welfare because they're to fat & lazy to work. It's really quite a charming place. I'd rather move back to the big city. At least when the bums ask for change I have the option of turning them down.

Kokomo... Notable because it was mentioned in a VH1 special where the "Clever" folks doing "i love to 80s" said that is what was referenced in the beach boys song for the movie Cocktail, and being frequented by Ryan White, the poor kid that was a hemophiliac and one of the first people on earth to be recorded as getting AIDS from a blood transfusion. poor kid had a shit time of life for the last few years of it. Damn hicks....

Yeah, for a couple of years after that story broke the staff hearded all of the kids into the auditorium to watch 'The Ryan White Story' once a year. Fun times, that.
