Alright, here is the deal. As I was reading in a thread posted by a newb, they wanted a site that listed ALL of the horror films ever made. Well, to tell you the truth, I want the same, because I am trying to collect every movie out there. Let's create a video "chopping" list as Fangoria would call it. I know that this is what the horror movie database is for, but not so many of the users here actually use it. So, here's how it works:

Title:
Year:
Link to information:
AKA Titles:

This will give people here something to do as-well, after you've finished voting in one of our thousands of tournaments. As you post a movie, I will post a list in a new post. Check that list for the movie you're about to post before you do so.

So get going!

Yes that would be great if you can do it.

I suspect a lot of people today use a search engine such as Google to type in key words and try to find movies.

This has worked for me.

I found 'Aphrodite' by searching for the phrase 'two-way mirror' plus some other words.

I think I also found another one I was looking for where this mad scientist slices this girl's vocal chords to make her keep quiet I'm not sure:

Zombie Holocaust (AKA Dr. Butcher M.D.) (1982)

I searched on 'vocal chords' plus some other words.

When you create your database I think you need another line for all of the search words.

http://www.horror.com/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=23778 My explanation for that is:

I rarely check the database:o

And...No one has informed me that anything like that was there, or I would have taken care of it...Thanks for bringing it to my attention :)

Yeah, we do get it in General. But what I hate about the database is the double posting on the movies in there, the fact that no one posts and when they do, a lot of people do not post a link, so you don't seem to ever be able to find any info on any movies.

And as Rayne said, she rarely ever checks the database, and I think that rarely anyone at all does. I'm probably the only person who does.

Yeah...It's a database, so it's not really meant to be a place for discussion, or posting on topics...It's really just for information...So, the only reason anyone would really have for checking it out would be to look for information about a certain movie, or to provide information about a movie...

Links or a DETAILED description of a movie are SUPPOSED to be provided...But...Not everyone does what they're supposed to here...*sigh*

In any case...The 'search' feature can provide someone with all the information that a person needs for a movie, and will almost always lead to a link for more information...

Keep in mind, IMDB.Com's database is FAR more extensive than ours, and most of the links that ARE in our database, lead to IMDB.Com :)
