Does anyone know any good web sites where I can browse through every horror movie ever made and also view the covers that are on the dvds (or vhs tapes) ?

I've already done this on MSN Shopping and dvdempire.com.

I need to see the covers I think.

Thanks.

There are no sites that contain every horror movie ever made.

You'll have to try different sites, and glean information from what each of them have to offer.

www.carfaxabbey.com has a huge list of horror, with the covers available. I've never bought anything from there, but I hit it up when I'm looking for obscure movies.

Thanks.

Sorry, Jeff. I forget that one little hyphen makes all the difference. This one is what you're looking for.

I would have suggested IMDB.Com ...I haven't come up with one they haven't had there yet...

They even had that 'Holy Virgin VS Evil Dead' thing...

Yes that looks like a great database.

The problem with it though is they don't show the pictures of the dvds on the main list:

Phantasm (1979)
Phantasm II (1988)

So if you only remember the image that was on the cover of the tape or dvd you first have to select the movie to see the picture.

For example I was looking for that one called 'Possession' and if I would have seen the image on IMDB I may have recognized it even though it's a different cover than the one I watched before.

Still you're right I bet I could find a lot of good movies on that site.

The titles alone are often helpful for identifying good movies.

Thanks.
