It was the color Twilight Zone.

The episode was called The Shadowman I think. All kinds of kids had a shadowman under their beds and the shadowman wouldn't hurt the kid from whose bed he came under but he would hurt the other kids. At the very last scene the main kid was sitting on a swing and the shadowman came up. The kid knew that he wouldn't be hurt because the shadowman did not hurt the person from whose bed he was under....but it was different shadowman so the kid was screwed.

I have been trying to find other people that remember it but nobody knows what I'm talking about.

I do.
It was a very good episode.
Wasn't as much of a fan of the re-made Twilight Zone
series as I am of the re-made Outer Limits series.

there was one form the 80s called i think "Pandora's Box" where woman found a necklace in a box while working in her garden and discovered that if she said "Shut up", time stopped, and "you can talk again" started it back up again.

By the end of the episode, America was getting hit by nuclear missles by the russians and she shouted shut up becaus eher family was panicking. I remember she went outside and there was a warhead in the sky, frozen in place..

That always stuck with me. i have always wondered what it would be liek to be able to stop and start time, and how badly such a thing could be abused.

The abuse i was thinking of was more along the lines of Hollow Man, but iguess they wouldnt go there in a kids movie.

seek out and read a book called The Fermata by Nicholson Baker.
