I've never really listened to Tool, but I've heard a lot of good things about them, especially for a mainstream band. Care to recommend an album to check out?

in order of quality:

Aenima
Lateralus
Undertow
10,000 Days
Opiate

Aenima is fucking amazing....and single best song if you want to try a download "46 and 2" . Listen to that then hit up Songmeanings.net and look up the lyrical meaning and youll be hooked i swear.......mindblowing.....

Tool has one of the best stage shows running.
I'm seeing them at Sleeptrain Ampitheater in September.

They bore me these days and one of the most deary depressing bands this side of Radiohead.

I saw them play a couple of years back on the Lateralus tour and it was a pretty solid show. But I've just lost interest in them since.

$267 for tickets.

That better be at least 20 tickets. Ticket prices today are insane. And people shouldn't put up with it.

Sonic Youth was 25 bucks and that is too much money for a 2 hour show.

I spent 5 bucks to see the Evens. And I met Ian Mackaye. I spent 25 bucks for the Violent Femmes. The Femmes were amazing. But nothing will ever beat the Evens show.

Tool is a great band. Worth about 20 bucks. Anything more is a rip-off. I would rather see a local band for 3 bucks.
