I'm not interested in this film. I think there will be minor interest in it as well. They did a horrible job at hyping the first one. They didn't deliver the goods. They acted like this film was supposed to shock the world. Hell, I've seen scarier movies rated Pg-13. They will have to "up the ante" on the gore, because that wasn't impressive either, and that was the main selling point of the film.

I was interested in Hostel 2 until I found out it's going to follow the exploits of three women. Now I imagine they'll be upping the ante of the porn, not gore. If that's the case, my interest level falls off tremendously as I thought there was too much T-n-A in the first one.

BTW, someone is going to say there's probably already a thread for this. Just giving fair warning.:D

Haha! thats funny. I say that at home and my wife turns her back on me....

Hostel was merely okay and even for a guy, there was WEAY too muvh nudity. it was like a softcore movie with some killig. Really, the only disturbing part was the dead pregnant woman. if you blinked you may have missed her.

I must've blinked because I totally missed her. Where was she?

Yeah, I blinked too. Although even a dead pregnant woman couldn't have redeemed that film.:(

Though I have seen better I thought Hostel was decent. I dug it. I will probably watch the second one to see what Mr. Roth has up his sleeve.

He has nothing up his sleeve.

Perhaps some stolen horror ideas, a lot of nudity (thinking it'll save his shit movie- it won't), and some of the worst acting possible.

That's just plain wrong.

It had a $4.5mil budget and made $80mil, it was hyped just fine, it didn't live up to said hype but hyped just fine nonetheless.

I thought it was ok starting from the time Paxton woke up in the club. He's going to be in the next one so it appears that there's going to be a revenge storyline, maybe he's being chased, either way it's got potential.

i just read that hostel 2 was being push back from its initial release. that is fine with me. let eli roth have more time with it. i hate when movies are rush....like saw 2 or soon enough saw 3....then soon after that saw 4 and so on.
hostel 2 will be good. i just hope he gets to the gore sooner in the sequel. i found myself getting bored in the first one. i love titties and all, but come one. i could of done without the first half of hostel,

i wish roth was doing "cell" before he did "hostel 2", but whatever i guess. "hostel 2" can't be any worse than the first one......right? just as long as he tones down on the teen sex comedy material. and make it brutal. i wonder if he saw "the descent" and thought to himself that he needs the main characters to all be women as well.
