I was going through some forums and I have heard the same thing everywhere that once you have rented over 20 in a month they slow your subscription down. That is crap!

Really? Thats lame....how do they do that, just send them out a few days late or something. I can only rent 2 at a time, so that hasnt happened to me yet.

well say ya get your 2 and burn them both or watch them on the same day ya get them ya send them out the next and usually they will send ya the next 2 in a couple days. Usually they will send them fast but then you will see that they get slower because they cant make money off of people renting 20 a month. But then again u can open up to different accounts and get 4 everytime beat the system a bit.

I've never been slowed down, rent three at a time and used to get a lot per month. Probably some bs rumor as they weren't able to ship some whiney git's dvd because they had to wait for it to get back. I have, on multiple occasions, returned all 3 discs in the same envelope and 2 days later got 3 more movies.

My account's never been throttled, and at one time I was renting large numbers of DVDs, easily twenty plus per month. I'm sure it may happen to some people, but I think that it may be somewhat overblown.

I think blockbuster is more worried with them being online. Get netflix, if you start getting throttled just cancel your account like I did.

I rent 3 at a time too and was very pleased with my turn-around until April maybe, when I definitely noticed a serious slowdown when I rented New Releases.

Once, Cabinet of Dr. Caligari but you get that anywhere... they replaced it quickly. Probably quicker than I would've had time to get to BB (2 days) and get a new copy.

Does anyone rent from Blockbuster online? If you do, is it any good? The reason I ask is because they have a free online trial going right now.
