Has anyone here ever heard of/read his books?
They're really good, particularly Off Season and The Girl Next Door.
Similar to early Stephen King, but much better.

He's a fantastic writer. His short story collection PEACEABLE KINGDOM is one of the very finest gatherings of horror fiction you're likely to find.

As much as I love his extreme material, I prefer the heartbreaking elements and tight tension of his novel RED. It's a beautiful read.

I"ve heard of him, but haven"t read anything by him.
You can see alot of critiques from King in his books.
He seems to like his stuff.

The Girl Next Door is amazing. Out of all the horror novels I've read, I think that this one comes closest to defining true evil and darkness. An excellent, if quite disturbing, read.

I have read "The Girl Next Door" and that book is forever burned into my brain. I can't seem to shake the images it gave me or the nightmare I had directly after finishing it.

I tried to read "Lost" but I just didn't like it.
